DC Water- DCCR will abandon Two (2) Monitoring Wells GP-01 and GP-02, which were approved under well construction Permit SB1800369: To construct the two (2) Monitoring Wells for Ground Water sampling and testing at CSO-19 Site. Abandonment procedure to be followed is explained in the work plan and summarized below: Monitoring wells to be abandoned as follows: GP-01: Well riser is plugged, tremie grouting well screen and riser is not applicable. GP-02: Tremie grout the well screen and riser from the bottom working upward, let grout set 30 min, then, GP-01 and GP-02: Over drill to depth 26' and 44' bgs, respectively, grout up the over drilled borehole to 2 ft bgs. Restore remaining 2 ft using same and like material. Abandonment process will be a continuous operation.
