REGISTERED STRUCTURAL PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER: ALAN E. MONEY #30895, EXPIRES 12/31/23. REF MST19-00383. ENGINEERING AND STRUCTURAL CALCS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ONSITE FOR ALL INSPECTIONS AND OPTIONS HIGHLIGHTED. "THESE PLANS MUST CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE 2018 INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING POOL & SPA CODE WITH ALL CITY OF MESA AMENDMENTS". CODE MODIFICATION APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS INCLUDE: A) A SCREWED IN PLACE WIRE MESH SCREEN OVER THE OPERABLE WINDOW AREA: B) SCREWED IN “STOPS” (NOT THUMB SCREWS) MAY BE USED TO LIMIT WINDOW OPENINGS NO MORE THAN 4” AND C) A LATCHING DEVICE NOT LESS THAN 54” ABOVE THE FLOOR. EMERGENCY ESCAPE WINDOWS MAY HAVE AN ALARM OR A LATCHING DEVICE NOT LESS THAT 54” ABOVE THE FLOOR. HOMEOWNER SHALL NOT CHANGE OR MODIFY THE BARRIER IN ANY WAY WITHOUT APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL. HOMEOWNERS SHALL INFORM FUTURE OWNER OF THE CONDITIONS OF THIS CODE MODIFICATION.
