ENGINEERING AND STRUCTURAL CALCS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ONSITE FOR ALL INSPECTIONS AND OPTIONS HIGHLIGHTED. "THESE PLANS MUST CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE 2018 INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING POOL & SPA CODE WITH ALL CITY OF MESA AMENDMENTS". CODE MODIFICATION APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS INCLUDE: A) A SCREWED IN PLACE WIRE MESH SCREEN OVER THE OPERABLE WINDOW AREA: B) SCREWED IN “STOPS” (NOT THUMB SCREWS) MAY BE USED TO LIMIT WINDOW OPENINGS NO MORE THAN 4” AND C) A LATCHING DEVICE NOT LESS THAN 54” ABOVE THE FLOOR. EMERGENCY ESCAPE WINDOWS MAY HAVE AN ALARM OR A LATCHING DEVICE NOT LESS THAT 54” ABOVE THE FLOOR.
