This structure shall be restored like for like, however, the home must be restored to original design in compliance with 2017 NEC, 2018 IRC/IBC requirements. Any alterations or changes will require submitting plans before any restoration/construction can begin. Any deviations from its original design during restoration/construction will result in a Stop Work Order and full plans will be required. During the damage inspection the following was observed: Please note that before a damage permit is issued an estimate showing the Company doing the work, the subject address, scope of work, materials, and labor from either the contractor or the insurance company will be required. Verbal estimations should not be used to approximate the cost of the permit. Structural members were damaged and will need replacing and engineering Electrical sustained major damage however the panel will not need to replaced, only wire/s that were damaged. Replace damaged wire per 2017 NEC and/or 2018 IRC/IBC Mechanical equipment/ducts sustained minor damage. Will need to clean/repair ductwork Minor damage to plumbing, some pipes will need to be replaced or repaired Note: Any structural members charred to a depth of 1/8” or greater are to be replaced. All plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems damaged by heat are to be replaced. A. Building is: Residential B.
