Ace Environmental plans to excavate down to 3000 gallon UST open and clean the said tank and then properly abandon the tank in place with suitable fill material. An engineering letter is attached to this application stating abandonment is necessary because removing the UST may impact structural integrity of the residential structure located at 1754 Lanier Pl NW as well as the adjacent sidewalk and utilities.
