Source description

A total of six (6), 6" diameter test borings will be drilled using 2.25" continuous hollow stem augers for geotechnical purposes. The borings will extend a maximum of 30 feet below current site grades using a track mounted drill rig. The samples will be containerized for geotechnical classification and laboratory testing. After boring completion, the boreholes will be grouted with bentonite slurry 2 lbs bentonite to 1 gallon of water and the auger cuttings and all other Investigation Derived Waste IDW will be containerized in sealed drums per DDOE permit.
