Perform a total of 13 geotechnical borings at the noted address, advanced to depths ranging from 50 to 75 feet below the existing ground surface unless auger refusal causes them to be terminated at a more shallow depth. Borings will be performed utilizing a truck or track mounted drill rig utilizing 3.25 inch hallow stem augers which will create an approximate 6 inch hole. Should auger refusal be encountered, 6 borings will be advanced past auger refusal using standard rock coring techniques and will be advanced an additional 5 to 15 feet past auger refusal. Two of the borings will then be converted into temporary groundwater monitoring wells using 1.25 inch PVC. Upon completion of drilling activities, the borings will be back-filled in accordance with the approved DDOE work plan.
