Ridgecrest Apartments project- The planned renovations will address systems, equipment, fixtures and finishes that are at, or near the end of, their useful life. Centralized gas heating and gas hot water systems will be replaced with individual systems. Kitchen cabinets and fixtures, along with the apartment finishes, are mostly original and in need of replacement. Plumbing fixtures will be replaced with low-flow models. Interior lighting will be replaced with high-efficacy LED fixtures. Windows will be replaced. Attic insulation will be supplemented, and air sealing installed. 5% of the apartments will be adapted for handicap accessibility. Civil site work includes CONSTRUCTION OF ADA COMPLIANT ACCESS POINTS AS NECESSARY. AS PART OF THIS WORK, NO UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY WILL BE REQUIRED. SEDIMENT AND EROSION CONTROLS TO MEET DOEE'S STANDARD CRITERIA WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE INTERIOR RENOVATION IMPROVEMENTS. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT CONTROLS WILL BE PROVIDED ON-SITE VIA RAINWATER HARVESTING SYSTEMS. 7090 SF
