HB-AB-EXP Design JV ("JV" or "Design Team") has been selected by District Department of Transportation(DDOT) for the design services for the DC PLUG Program  Feeders 14702 and 118. Through this IDIQ contract, DDOT will be undertaking the design of necessary infrastructure, including but not limited to duct banks, conduits, manholes, switches, tap holes, transformer enclosures and more. The under grounding of proposed primary distribution lines is necessary to improve the reliability and resiliency of the electric distribution system serving the District of Columbia during severe weather conditions, as required by the Electric Company Infrastructure Improvement Financing Amendment Act of 2017. Through this IDIQ, the design team will underground Feeder 14702 and 118 in Southeast DC. The scope includes all activities needed to produce 30% (preliminary design), 65% (intermediate design), 100% (final design), PS&E (Plans, Specifications and Cost estimate) and Final Bid Documents submissions. The project limits include Anacostia Rd SE, N St SE, Nash Pl SE, O St SE, Q St SE, R St SE, S St SE, T St SE, Ridge Pl SE, 22nd St SE, 25th St SE, 26th Pl SE, 27th St SE, 28th St SE, 29th St SE, 30th St SE, 38th St SE, Westover Dr SE.
