Fence Wall

I am seeking to install a fence that borders my entire property. Starting at the midpoint of the house, I plan to extend a fence west and east from the house to the respective western and eastern property lines. From that point north toward the alley, I will run a 7 foot tall wooden privacy fence. The northern border of my property will continue the 7 foot tall privacy fence, but I plan to also build a sliding gate or a rolltop gate, such that my car will be hidden behind the gate while parked in the parking pad . I plan to set the northern wall of the fence a foot or two south of my property line such that the DC garbage trucks can continue to access the public alley without obstruction. This fence is indcated in orange and green on the attached building plat design. Ther is a section of fence that my neighbor has alrady installed (metal chain link fence) that is indicated in red on the atached building plat.From the midpoint of the house going south, I plan to install a 42 inch high metal fence around the front of the property with a gate such that the mail carriers can continue to access the front of the house via the walkway. The intention is to maintain the lines of sight for cars driving on Alton Pl and 35th St and pedestrians using the sidewalk. This is indicated in yellow on the attached building plat.This fence is essential for the enjoyment of my property, my safety, and my security. Currently, without a fence, neighbors constantly trespass on my property, bring their dos onto my yard, and allow their dogs to defecate all over my yard without cleaning up. Further, people can see into the inside of the back of the lower level of my home through the lower level windows and doors because there is no fence on the alley or east edge of my property. I also have a dog and the lack of an adequate fence exposes my dog to risk of leaving the property and running into the street or other dogs or people coming onto my property and harming my dog or me. Although not required under DC regulations due to the height of the fence not exceeding 7 feet, I have verbally notified my neighbors (to the west of me) of my intent to install a fence. I have not received any verbal objections or complaints.
